happy and healthy Getting involved in these activities is also a great excuse to socialise

Older People make a positive contribution to Society

People are living longer and 23% of the UK will be aged 65 and over by 2035. The main aim for this website is to celebrate the achievements and contributions that older people make to our society and tackle negative attitudes and outdated stereotypes.

Ageing isn’t just really old people looking frail, nor is it really old people doing whacky things – Find out more about Older People’s Day.
